Hiring and
Screening

At Super Sitters we conduct face-to-face interviews
with every potential babysitter. In addition, we
provide a two hour training class for every
applicant.
Super Sitters
runs a nation-wide background check on every
applicant verifying that there is no criminal
history. This nation-wide check includes sex
offender charges. Quite often there is a lapse in
reporting time between county and national data
bases. In an effort to prevent error, we also run a
county-wide background check when necessary. We also
have the ability to run an international check.
Additionally, we check employment history and
require three personal references.
Once hired
the sitter is issued a photo ID badge and must wear
a Super Sitters shirt with the identifying company
logo. This further ensures the safety of your child.
Many of our
current babysitters have been with Super Sitters for at
least 5 years and some have been part of our team
since Mrs. Racker was the owner! We hold our sitters
to the highest standards. Each sitter must be infant
and child CPR and First Aid certified. Their
performance is carefully evaluated. Our sitters have
a variety of backgrounds which include mothers,
teachers, daycare providers, college students,
nurses and retired grandmothers. Some of our sitters
also work with children with special needs. Your
dispatcher will do their very best to match the best
sitter to your child's needs and your preferences.
