Super
Sitters, Inc. was established as a corporation by Marianne N. Racker in 1987 in
the State of Florida. This was one of the first agencies of it's kind to offer
in-room babysitting services to hotel guests in addition to on-call babysitting
services for Orlando Residents. It eventually grew to provide childcare at local
conventions and private functions as well. Mrs. Racker began this company with
a strong conviction to give the best quality childcare possible. That commitment
to Customer Satisfaction is what has made this corporation successful for 20 years!
The
current and third owner is Nadine Monico. She worked as a sitter with Super Sitters
for 5 years prior to taking ownership. Ms. Monico has an Associate of Arts degree
in Liberal Arts. Her continued education includes classes in Psychology with an
emphasis on children at the University of Central Florida. A mother of two, she
understands the important role Super Sitters has in the community. The safety
and quality of care for our children is of the utmost importance to her and the
entire Super Sitters team. She has continued to adhere to that commitment to Customer
Satisfaction which began with Mrs. Racker 19 years ago!

sitters are professional, polite, and friendly women who love working with children.
Hiring
and Screening
At
Super Sitters we conduct face-to-face interviews with every potential babysitter.
In addition, we provide a two hour training class for every applicant.
Super
Sitters runs a nation-wide background check on every applicant verifying that
there is no criminal history. This nation-wide check includes sex offender charges.
Quite often there is a lapse in reporting time between county and national data
bases. In an effort to prevent error, we also run a county-wide background check
when necessary. We also have the ability to run an international check. Additionally,
we check employment history and require three personal references.
Once
hired the sitter is issued a photo ID badge and must wear a Super Sitters shirt
with the identifying company logo. This further ensures the safety of your child.
Many
of our current sitters have been with Super Sitters for at least 5 years and some
have been part of our team since Mrs. Racker was the owner! We hold our sitters
to the highest standards. Each sitter must be infant and child CPR and First Aid
certified. Their performance is carefully evaluated. Our sitters have a variety
of backgrounds which include mothers, teachers, daycare providers, college students,
nurses and retired grandmothers. Some of our sitters also work with children with
special needs. Your dispatcher will do their very best to match the best sitter
to your child's needs and your preferences.
Insurance
Super
Sitters Inc. carries General Liability Insurance coverage with limits of $1,000,000
per occurrence and $1,000,000 General Aggregate. For added security Super Sitters
also carries a Dishonesty Bond in the amount of $10,000 on every sitter. Proof
of Insurance and Bond can be supplied at your request at any time. We at Super
Sitters are proud to say there have never been any claims or legal actions against
us in almost 20 years!
